Atul Goel
Atul Goel is an engineer by training, an entrepreneur by instinct and a nation-builder by intent. Armed with a BE (Civil) , followed by an MBA (Finance), then a degree in Family Business Management from ISB Hyderabad, and a Diploma in Law from ILS Law College, Pune; he is a firm believer in the adage that learning is a lifelong process. He has recently been awarded an honorary doctorate in Construction Management by the prestigious European International University in recognition of his immense contribution to and domain expertise in real estate development.

He spent his early years in the business as a part-time engineer, and then as a trainee engineer who worked on construction sites, thus creating a strong foundation in the real estate industry. Over the ensuing decades he has emerged as a well-rounded real estate leader with expertise in all stages of the real estate development lifecycle – from research, to land surveys to land acquisition; from product planning, competitive analysis and compliances to architecture and landscaping; from finance to legal to liaisoning to policy-making to sales and marketing, right through to after sales support.
Atul has always been a trail-blazer. In 1997, as a fresh entrant, he implemented ISO 9001, making the Goel Ganga Group the first construction company in India to be certified for quality management systems and environmental management systems. He conceptualized the first truly high-end real estate project in Pune, India, in the year 1999. Spread across of 40 acres of prime property, this project created a real estate benchmark in a fast-growing city. He went on to conceptualise, develop and deliver many more firsts, including – the first five-star hotel with 120 rooms, in electronic city, Bengaluru in the year 2008; the first one million sq. ft. retail project in Nagpur – a visionary project that integrated redevelopment of a key, centrally located unorganized retail area with modern retail and then linked the project to the Metro junction in Nagpur; the first World Trade Center in Central India. He has conceptualized and acquired land to deliver 20000 affordable housing homes in Pune and 2500 free homes to slum dwellers by 2030 in Pune.
Atul is the Founder of Goel Ganga Foundation, a not-for-profit Foundation that works towards the upliftment of underprivileged members of society.
Real Rich is his first book. And he is only getting started.
Leena Saldanha
Leena Saldanha is the author ofThe Diwali Party (2020) - a full length novel set in Pune revolving around the adventures of 4 women in their 30s, a novel of about family, friends and other broken pieces of light; Wild Things (2018) - an anthology of poems that walk on the wild side of the human experience; and Radha (2016) - a unique collection of 101 poems written in the voice of Radha to her beloved Krishna.
